I hope you are all okay amidst the very strong typhoon yesterday that hit NCR. I swear it's one of the very strong typhoons to ever hit Manila even though they only said it was signal num 1.
So yesterday I..
- got stranded in Recto because classes were suspended late. They suspended class when recto was already flooded and no vehicle passes my way to home.
- someone almost snatched my wallet plus my cellphone. thanks to that I ended up walking in the flood itself soaking my feet, my bag, my shoes and 1/4 of my skirt.
- I had to take LRT even though I'm one way far from station just because no vehicles were passing my route to home anymore.
-flood got inside my house, it was knee high inside and waist high outside the house and the stench it brought was horrible, some appliance got wet too.
- no power supply for almost 24 hrs, not even food to eat
- my parents got stranded in Bulacan.
STILL I call myself fortunate because some friend's house got taken away, they're homeless. heck 50+ people died too. Just too sad that it all came to this, if only we were more prepared.
here's some pics I caught while waiting for vehicles/ house plus the way to home.
for starters:
this is the quiapo underpass which is something I see every single day when going to and from school:

note that it's an underpass. THEN NOW YESTERDAY GOING HOME FROM SCHOOL:

it's not a bridge, it's an underpass where even buses pass. I swear it gave me the chills, it became like a swimming 20ft high. D: or deeper.
